Submission Rules - Share Ideas

Yeah I've got the basic "Actor/Actress stories are not permitted" line in my rules, but I would like to update it to allow for public/historical figures.  I would like to write the rule in some was that allows for innocent interaction with the characters.  Maybe a little more than what you've described. I think if you've got a character being interviewed by a reporter in a story using a real reporter's name should be okay, for instance.  A character bumping into a famous person and doing the "OMG it's _____!" thing.

I started thinking about this when I ran across a Band of Brothers slash story on someone's livejournal.  Those were not actors portraying the old guys in the mini-series.  Those were the real soldiers of Easy Company.
