I think this is in the right place..
I've actually been wondering about this for awhile.. You see, I inherited two sites running on the eFiction script and I often think of how much easier it would be if they were merged into one site.
Out of curiosity, would that even be possible?
Some annoying problems come to mind when I take it into consideration. Like that there could be two different people with the same screen name, each on one of the sites, and it certainly wouldn't be good if it added their stories together.. Or if a person has a different profile on each site; one would either be overwritten, or worse, they would be merged into one big mess. Plus the same could be true of their author's notes in their stories.
But, nonetheless, I'm wondering if anyone has tried it.

Yes, I believe it is possible. Do a search on merging 2 efiction sites. I'm pretty sure it can be done, but I've not done it personally. I think what it does is creates an extra table for the authors so they can be merged together.

Yeah, that idea requires one site to have a blank authors table. There probably wouldn't be a simple way like that to merge them... Though, it would be nice. xD

Well worse comes to worse you can put page links to both efic sites to one another in the menu.
