Spambots make user accounts in my archive and usually I just delete them.
What's the purpose of locking accounts? Doesn't it skew your member count?
What do you do, Lock or delete? and what do you advise?

When you lock an account, it locks the e-mail the member used as well.

If you just delete, the e-mail can be used to sign up again.

Also, you might want to lock an account if you have a user who continues to abuse your rules. If you lock it, it can be undone. If you delete, it can't.
