because the eFiction scipt is SO great, i feel spoiled! im looking for a simular script that i could use for graphics instead of fiction.
i want members to be able to display there graphics like an image gallery but also have there own bio page and account.
does anyone know if such a script exists? and if so would be kind enough to point me in such a direction? 😀
There are many image gallery scripts out there, and I'm sure you can request for mods/hacks to be made for them. Try hotscripts.com/PHP and looking for some.
I used to use 4Images in much the same way you're talking about. No one ever used it, so I did end up eventually deleting it.
It comes decently close right from standard download. I ended up using a fair number of mods so I could further approximate the look and functions of eFiction. It worked pretty nicely too. I had star ratings, news, news comments, an rss feed, custom category images, custom pages -- even the image listings looked pretty darned close to the eFiction story listings.
Don't let the German fool you; they still support English users.
