Greetings,
Hmm... I found this quite interesting, I have several categories in my site, first one with 2 level of subcategories (original stories/fiction/horror for example) when next category has only 1 level below main category itself. What makes this pretty odd, when I add subcategories to 2nd level, when I get back to admin panel first and second top level categories have switched places. This did not happen just once or twice, but several times when I was building my category hierarchy.
I don't consider this really a bug, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar behaviour?
Obiviously since it's in my site's admin area, I cannot give access info publicly. I'm going to look deeper into this myself (Yes, I'm a php programmer), and if I find something, I'll update this msg.
Details:
efiction: latest 3.3
OS: Debian Linux 3.1
Webserver: Litespeed 3.1
PHP 4.4 bundled with litespeed
Mysql 5.0.32
Motor-Ed
I'm not really sure about this. I tried to test this with 3.3.1 and was unable to recreate it. I went to a category with a subcategory and added a subcategory to the subcategory. It went in the right place and everything seems good.
There was something weird going on with adding categories in an earlier version, but a Fix Category Order function was included in the Archive Maintenance admin panel to order the categories. The earlier problem was resolved. Maybe you didn't fix the category order, or the 3.3.1 update will take care of it.

Is this still an issue with 3.5.1?
