I'm not sure that my favorite e-mails are going out. Two of the stories of my fav were updated today, and I did not recieve a single e-mail. I double checked and the mark is checked in my preferences. I used to get favorites.

I just got an update with a new fic added, so it works for Fav authors. Still no sign of fav story e-mails.

I just got an email on a favorite author as well. I'll look at it again, but favorite author and favorite story use the same code I think.
ETA I had the story and author both marked as favorites and 2 minutes after I got the first notice, I got the second. So I think this is working.

You can get author alerts only for new stories. You can get story alerts only for new chapters, after you fav'd the story... right? So you shouldn't be able to get both unless the author added a new story, and updated an old one. 😛
Or do I just not know that you can get both with Author?
