[SOLVED] Reveiw notifications not sending

Did you check that any mail is going out? 

Yeah, I just reveiwed myself and got that notification fine (for author on admin account) and i have recieved a notification that an author (another admin) had responded to my reveiw as well for a different story.

When i reveiewed my regular member status story, no reveiw notification. And i have asked a few other members, and they are not getting notifications either. Just reveiwed an author with admin status (level 2) and she got email, so it appears that the admin ones are going out and the member ones are not.

I am not 100% certain but i think this was after the fixes i quoted in the previous post.

I've noticed this problem and other authors have brought it to my attention again.  But my problem is I don't get anything.

I recently upgraded to 3.2.1 and the upgrade was fine except favorites and author notifications either as well as the comments to reviews.

The contact form and mail users does work.

Just another confirmation that authors (regular members) aren't getting review notifications on an archive running 3.2.1.

We're running 3.2.1, php 4.4.2. 

We are getting mail through the site, both review notifications for admins and from people using the 'contact' option in the admin profiles to send us bug reports.

The issue is in the revres.php file located in the user folder....

No it's not. It's two different issues. 

I know it's working in 3.2.1 because I'm getting new reviews on my stories.  Make sure the authors in question have that setting checked in their preferences.  It does not automatically send out reviews.  Authors must choose to have reviews sent out.

I am not sure about the 'two issues' thing, so just want to clarify my problem, which most definitely is not working on 3.2.1. which is the emial notification of reveiws.

I have checked my member account as: send review notifications, i have checked and rechecked it time and time again just to make sure and asked a number of authors to double check too and they are still not getting any review notifications unless they are at admin level .

I have also checked the _authorpreftables and they are set to newrewiews: 1, so everything appears to be set as it should, yet no no admins are recieving review notifications.

Review notifications will be sent out in 3.3.
