The shout archive won't displays results past page 1. I get a blank page.

http://www.potionsandsnitches.net/fanfiction/blocks/shoutbox/archive.php

You can't see it in the admin panel either.

http://www.potionsandsnitches.net/fanfiction/admin.php?action=blocks&admin=shoutboxoffset=8

You get these errors:

Warning: main(blocks/shoutboxoffset=8/admin.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/.../fanfiction/admin/blocks.php on line 44

Warning: main(blocks/shoutboxoffset=8/admin.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/.../fanfiction/admin/blocks.php on line 44

Warning: main() [function.include]: Failed opening 'blocks/shoutboxoffset=8/admin.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/.../fanfiction/admin/blocks.php on line 44

In your settings you have it set to allow guests to shout.  Goto Admin->Blocks.  Choose the options for the shoutbox block and turn it off.

And at this point, I'm going to say what I should have said earlier.  Go read the instructions for posting a help request.  The "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING!" threads posted everywhere.

3.  Put a link to the page on your site where the problem appears.  While a link to your index page will often due, it is much prefered that you link to the exact page.  Even if it's an admin page we can't access, a direct link is most helpful when diagnosing problems.  Without a link, your request will most likely be ignored.

In your other thread I asked multiple times for a link, and I've been ignored each time.

7.  Please check your site settings before you report that something doesn't work.  Experience says it's often because it's turned off. There are a number of new settings both within the site settings and your personal settings with 3.0. Check them out before reporting an error.  Personal settings trump site settings!  So if your personal setting is to turn tinyMCE off even if the site's set to have it on, it will be off.  Same applies for the site skin and default sort.

If you'd followed these instructions before posting, you would have found it was not a bug.

And finally....

2.  Do not tack your request on to the end of an unrelated thread. New problem, new topic.  Even if you think it's related, it probably isn't.  So unless it's the exact same problem, start a new topic anyway.

Do not add reply with new problems to old threads.

Tammy, I think perhaps he was trying to tell me that I have allowed guests to shout. He put a msg in my shoutbox saying that.

Of course, I WANT guests to be able to shout, so its a moot point. Code doesn't go through it so... not really a danger.
