Hi.

I've just installed efiction so I don't know much about it.

But when I go to stories and click on the + or - for the Text Size, I get an error message like this:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: isnumber() in /home/eternal/public_html/trigun/viewstory.php on line 30

URL: http://trigun.eternal-sorrow.net/viewstory.php?sid=2

I'm new to php in general so please don't make the answer too complicated  😳

URL to your eFiction: http://www.devianthearts.com
Your version of eFiction: 3.2
Latest Patche(s): Yes
Any mods installed?: bridged
Have you modified your eFiction?: No.
Version of PHP: 5.2.1
Version of MySQL: 5.0.18
Have you searched for your problem: Yes
Other Notes: Hosting on dreamhost with php running as cgi
State the nature of your problem: I was getting the same error when trying to view the next chapter in multi chaptered stories via the jumpbox and the next link. I commented out lines 30 and 31 so now I can view the next chapter with both. I didn't check the text sizer. This happens on both my live site and my test site.

My main site has the lines commented out as it's active, but the test site still has the problem. The address is http://stuff.devianthearts.com

I'm having issues with the jump menu in multi-chaptered stories.

http://www.omfgcrack.com/efiction/viewstory.php?sid=4

When I use the dropdown, it takes me to a blank page.  The same happens when I use the "Next" at the bottom of the page.

I can get to the chapters perfectly fine from the ToC, but when I'm looking at the URLs for the two, the textsize=0 is in the jumpmenu URLs.  The textsizer doesn't work either.

I don't believe it's the same issue because I'm not getting any error message whatsoever, simply a blank page.

This may sound stupid but I notice both of you have debug turned on. What happens if you turn debug off and try resizing?

In your Admin settings do you have the site url pointed to where efiction is? Sometimes folks type in their main home page and that causes this problem at times.

As I said earlier, I'm new to this whole php thing.  Afraid you'll have to be more specific.  I have no idea where debug is and how do you resize?  Where is the resize?

And yes, I know I'm a hassle.

When you log in go to ADMIN->Settings->Site Settings
Where you see Display Debug Information change the choice from Yes to No

I just tried on my website and neither jumpmenu nor clicking "Next" seems to be working. I think this qualifies as a good old fashioned bug.

OK, it's on 'no'.  The text sizing still won't work.

Glad to know it's not just me then.  Now to figure out a workaround.  I think it's in the textsizing because the ToC works fine.  I tried to find the textsizer to comment out until the bug is fixed but I couldn't find where exactly to comment out since it was referenced in so many places.
