efiction version 3.3
mods: recommendations, displayword
bridged: no

I know the contact email was working before and I can't tell you exactly when it stopped working. I noticed when I was trying to get a temporary password to my other least used site ( http://uketrowa.babaca.org) I never received any email. So for grins I tried typing a message on the  Contact page at both sites. Still no email. Nothing in the junk mailbox. It would say email was sent so I have no error messages for you.

I'm about to dismantle the uketrowa one because I don't devote much time to it and I've had my admin hijacked there before which is why I checked in myPHPAdmin to see if I was still the administrator and my admin email was correct. But having the contact page not work properly on the other site is a problem.

I hadn't changed the site email at all. It's still the same as always. I just tried to send you a message from your contact link on my website. Let me know if you receive anything from babaca fanfics.

Try it again.  I didn't see anything, but I wasn't watching for it and may have deleted it while cleaning out the SPAM in my mailbox.

Bump.  Is this still an issue, Babaca?

Yes. Contact mail does not sent me any mail. I will attempt to sent to my users and see if they get any mail.

Send one to me.  I've got an account on your site.  Your email wouldn't happen to be gmail would it?

I sent a group email yesterday and no one replied, and I just sent you one now.  No. The email is my email with my webdomain of babaca.org.

I sent a test message to myself from my own website and it worked.  What about other emails from the site?  Are the alerts going out for new and updated stories?  I don't think it's the script itself or there'd be a lot more people shouting that it's broken.  Or if it is the script its something that isn't affecting very many sites.  Are you using SMTP?

No one has replied to my alerts. I used to get alerts to reviews but that hasn't worked for a while. I use sendmail. I may just contact my webhost and see if there's something on their end that's changed.

I'll try plugging in smtp info and see if it works.

I've emailed my webhost and they had changed some settings in my website. They've corrected the settings and now it's working again.

Thanks, this should be considered fixed.
