I just installed efiction 3.3 and noticed that the challenges page link does not point to the correct place. That's the {challenges}.
It points:
http://genficrecs.freehostia.com/modules/challenges/challenges.php
it should point to:
http://genficrecs.freehostia.com/browse.php?type=challenges
If you edit the page link to the right url it works. It just didn't install it right.
