Two featured stories lost their featured status when author simply edited their story info. I only noticed, because they were actively featured, and the Featured Stories on the homepage lost a couple of them. πŸ™‚ I added the featured status back, and had one of my authors test it. The featured status was taken off again.

I tried it on my own, and the featured status stayed, but that's probably because I am an Admin.

Another featured story lost its status today.

I haven't received an e-mail back from the author yet on whether she updated her story. I added the Featured status back.

Edit: Yeah, she edited it.

It happens on my site, too, and as far as I can remember, the problem was there also in eFiction2.
Thank you.

This is still an issue with 3.3.1.

I'm using eFiction version 3.3.1 on my archive, and it happens to me too. The exact problem is whenever a featured story's author updates her/his story's main page, the ribbon disappears. It's really annoying because there are many featured stories that I can't keep track.

Please a solution as quickly as possible.

glenien.  You might want to update to 3.4.3 and see if the problem is fixed there.

Don't ask for a solution when you're 4 versions behind the current.  Update then come talk to us.
