Hi there
I had installed the Challenge module correctly. The count is also correct. But the problem is, I set to allow Anonymous input to "YES" , it is okay. I can input as Anonymous Challenge but could not Response to it even I had logged in as Admin. But setting to "NO", doesn't even allow me as a Super admin to input challenge, nor response to challenge, Admin Edit nor delete.
I always get the same error message.
"You are not authorized to access that function."
I had looked at the posted string, " http://esharingportal.com/modules/challenges/challenges.php?action=add"
It seems that the string of php scripts doesn't include the correct security check for authorised members to add or response to the Challenges.
Perhaps, we could look at the security check in the challenges module to troubleshoot on the security check or parsing line to enable only LOGGED IN member to Response to the Challenges. I currently installed the latest eFiction 3.5 and I thought this release could solve the problem but it didn't.
Regards
Stanley
Are you sure you are responding to challenges correctly?
In order for Responding to challenges to work you have to already have a story in your account. Once you are logged in (with story in hand figuratively), you click respond as a user and you choose your own story. As Admin you have to power to add the stories for the user if they are having issues with putting their challenge response in.

Mucking around in eFiction since circa 2001 (ver. 1.0)
Now running v.3
Please check and see if this is an issue still with 3.5.1. Thank you.

Hi there
Same problem with 3.5.1 After clicking "Issue a challenge" I was logged out by the system and the messagee "You are not autthorised to this function"
Anyway, I'll just uninstall this module. Thanks for helping.
Not a bug. Babaca's explanation is correct.
You can ISSUE a challenge anonymously. You must be a member to respond.
