The backup database feature from the admin panel doesn't seem to be working. I opened one of my backup SQL files today and this is what I got:
<b>A fatal MySQL error was encountered.</b><br />Query: SELECT ap.*, author.uid as uid, author.penname as penname, author.email as email, author.password as password FROM fanfiction_authors as author LEFT JOIN TABLEPREFIXfanfiction_authorprefs as ap ON ap.uid = author.uid WHERE author.uid = '1'<br />Error: (1146) Table 'genner.TABLEPREFIXfanfiction_authorprefs' doesn't exist
This particular archive does not have a settings prefix on anything but the settings table.

Jan, it works on mine. I get a pop up asking if I want to save my file. It saves as 'yoursitename_mm-dd-yyyy.sql' these days instead of backup.php.You might have to upload your admin folder or admin.php file again.

Oh, it saves. But when I open the saved file, this is what it says. The error message, not the actual data.
Check yours and see.

Ah, I see what you mean. I just tried to open mine and it said:

Ah, I recalled seeing the .sql for the eFic backup being only 1kb, but I didn't stop to check just deleted it.
I'm currently running a cronjob that gives me daily backups of my own site, so that's fine for the time being.
Hope it gets fixed. :3 I'm hoping to just run sporadic backups ...
