Not sure if this is anything, but I noticed something odd in my action log for a review.

The IP address is in the review area, and the date is in the ip area. The date area is blank.

I'm not sure how this happened, what this person reviewed, or if they are trying to actually review or not. π
Edit: I found the review:

Edit: this has happened again in a different review, but unfortunately, I forgot to not purge my action log. Sorry. I think it has something to do with the old br /r /n bug, where the review would be cut off if there was a break within in the first part shown in the action log. I'm very glad it isn't something else...

I haven't had any more of these since the second one. Maybe it's just a strange thing that won't happen again. Maybe it's just the reviewer's name or something they put in that messes it up.
I can probably find the second review if I need to, since i know what date to look at (around July 6-7, 2007).

and they occur frequently (well semi-frequently I guess, it is not just a once off)
with these entries the date is in the ip column and the date column is empty
Also noticed, not sure if related or a separate issue, is the log doesnt log any of my reveiws i leave - ever. It records my edits and deletes but never my reveiws. Not a big deal really, but perhaps worth mentioning. I am admin level 1 if that affects it somewhow.
why is nothing ever easy?

I've been getting these since 3.0 came out. If you'll check, I think that they only happen to stories that have a pop up warning. At least on my site it's never happened on a story that didn't have a popup
jacci, Reviews are only in the action log for anonymous reviews. If you are a member, logged in, your review wouldn't show up in the action log. π

This has been happening for me too since upgrading to 3.0, and I think darklight is right about the relation to popups.
Good news, I think this is fixed! I reviewed anonymously on two separate stories that were recording the strange action log entries, and now they are showing up right. Thank you Tammy! π
