In accordance with the rules for the bug forum, I'm posting this here for now, but I suppose it's a bug. Since I'm currently moving house, I'm running two eFiction installs simoultaneously - one on 3.5.1. and one on 3.5.2. I just noticed that the 3.5.2. install doesn't show pagelinks on profile pages. Have an example here:
http://www.naiceanilme.net/viewuser.php?uid=12 - shows only the first 15 stories for this user, with no option to get to the next page.
http://angst.waking-vision.com/viewuser.php?uid=12 - the same userpage from the 3.5.1. install, notice the pagelinks at the bottom.
This seems to be a problem only on the profile pages - it works fine everywhere else as far as I could see.
I quickly checked another site that had upgraded to 3.5.2. and it seems to be missing those pagelinks as well: http://treknation.net/viewuser.php?uid=1 (this user has written over 70 stories).
Bug? Anyone else who upgraded to 3.5.2 who's having this problem?
I'm having trouble navigating beyond the linked page and the index page at the first link. I wanted to check Browse, but for whatever reason I couldn't. Anyway, I notice that both of those sites are using different default skins. The pagelinks are actually appear through listings.tpl (which is included in user.tpl). Are you positive that {pagelinks} is in the one skin's listings.tpl?
Try it now, maybe you have more luck with this skin (still working on stuff, sorry if anything breaks).
I just re-checked and while I edited the listing.tpl of all my skins lately, I didn't edit that part. The pagelinks is in there - and it is coming up everywhere but on the profile page.
Whoa... Michelle is correct... page links is missing if a person has more than one screen of stories. I just looked at my profile on my website (I have 165 stories) but under my profile it only shows the first 10 and it doesn't seem to matter what skin I'm using.

Nope. The only modules I'm running is Recommendations and that's it.
Seems like something in "storiesby" is the problem section of viewuser because if you look at series (which is more than 10 on my page), page links are working there:

Ha, I didn't even realize it worked for series. Good catch!
I checked last night. I see the point where pagelinks is added in storiesby. I haven't done any further testing on it, but I'll look into it further later in the week. Just from what I see in the code, it should be working.
This is a bug. I've put a fix in the SVN archive.

Hi, I've just realized I am having the same problem in my archive... http://www.sinful-desire.org/archive/viewuser.php?uid=1917 has 65 stories but only the first 15 are showing.
Where can I find the fix? Sorry, I'm just not familiar with the SVN archive...is there just one specific file I need to save and upload?

Get the latest version of user/storiesby.php from the SVN (Link in the menu at the top of the page). It's revision 42.
