Bump. ANY progress on this at all? I can't do anything with my archives until this is fixed. If there's even a clue as to what might be causing it, at least that would be a start.

*seconds the bump*
I am still having this problem as well. Azurite I would suggest that you use the "Validate" link. At least on my archive, this link will take you to the story contents and you can continue to validate stories.
To add to this thread: I have also noticed that in the user accounts>>manage stories if you click on the title of a story that has NOT been validated then you get not story content. If you click on the title of a validated story, you get the story contents as normal.
Anyone have any ideas on where to start? I've looked at admin/submitted.php, admin/validate.php as well as both fanfiction_stories and fanfiction_chapters tables in the database and I haven't found anything that is different from the validated vs unvalidated (aside from the validation of course.)
Please help!

*bumping* I'm having the same problem. It took me a while to notice it, because most of my users are validated.
This problem is continuing with ver. 3.5. That is, when you click on stories in the submission queue, they still have no content unless you click on "Validate" instead. I don't see any other problems from the eFic side though, such as Author being "Author of -1 other stories" or anything like that.

Found it I think.
Change line 249 to:
$chapterinfo = dbquery("SELECT chap.*, "._PENNAMEFIELD." as penname FROM (".TABLEPREFIX."fanfiction_chapters as chap, "._AUTHORTABLE.") WHERE sid = '$sid' AND chap.uid = "._UIDFIELD." ORDER BY inorder");
You're taking out the "chap.validated > 0" part.
What page should I be looking on for that line? We've looked at a few pages here, validate.php, submitted.php. Is it either one (or both?) of those?

In viewstory.php
That seemed to work! Now when I click on the chapter title, the content displays! Thanks! (I don't know if this will work for the other people who reported the same problem, so I'm not sure if it should be marked as resolved yet.)
ETA: The Story End module still doesn't appear to work. I'm getting all the same errors as I had earlier in this thread, so I think the module has a separate issue/bug unrelated to this one.

Can you please check and see if this is still an issue with 3.5? Thank you!

The stories in my submission queue and approved stories outside of it all display fine. The Story End module is still broken, though-- it says it's installed on my eFic (only gives the option to uninstall), but it doesn't actually display. I'm not sure if I'd done something earlier to disable it from showing, but that is a separate issue.

Alright, thanks! π Since the Story End module is a separate issue, I'm moving this post to the solved forum.
