Skin Name: Dark Water

Developer: Goku Girl

License: Free to use and modify. All that I ask is that you please retain my copyright in the footer.

Description: Black and blue water-themed skin.

Notes: Looks fine in 800x600+; fx, NS, and IE 6+. This is an update of my Dark Water v1 skin for 2.0. I couldn't get the text to flow around the navigation bar the way it does in the old version, though (the div I used to do it was removed in 3.0), but there still should be enough room for story text beside it without being overly annoying.

Hi,

I really like this skin -- however, I find that the tinyMCE editor breaks the layout when editing a bio, or adding a subcategory.

Firefox v1.5:
The editor extends way to the right.

IE v6.0
The editor appears below the left-hand column.

However, in both, it appears fine when adding/editing a story.

Screen resolution: 1024x768

Any ideas on how to fix this?

EDIT>
I also noticed that if I try to add a block below the Browse By area in the header.tpl file, it ends up showing up at the top of the middle column, above the welcome message.  I tried containing it within the last </div>, which works, but messes up the block a bit, and it looks odd having one box inside another.  Any way to fix this?

Brad

On a lot of my skins the tinyMCE editor doesn't display like it's supposed to because the container is too narrow. I'm fairly sure you can fix the problem by reducing the number of columns of the textbox in stories.php (there are multiple instances). I did that for a personal skin in the 2.0 version, but I'm not sure if the fix will be as simple in 3.0. In 3.2 in Firefox 1.5 or IE 7, I'm not getting that problem, though, which is odd because I've always had it.

About the block you tried to add... You'll probably have to send me the stylesheet and header.tpl. E-mail's okay. The only reason I can think of is that the new block is too wide but when I tried to create your problem, I ended up with a stacking problem instead of the one you had.

I'm unable to edit the post for some reason so the new URL to the DarkWater demo is http://www.gokugirl.com/test3/index.php?skin=DarkWater
