So I tried again and it seems to have gone through with the upgrade.

It tells me all went through and it created a lock.file.

But when I click on Home, where I would expect to see the homepage, it goes back to the installer. I have renamed all folders called "install" to "%install%". There was no file called "install.php", but it still goes to the beginning.

Test-Installation

Any thoughts or ideas, please?

Okay. I have uninstalled the v5 and installed v3.5.5.

All works fine so fas as I can see. Now how do I do the update to v5?

Any thought?

I have downloaded and installed the v5.0 installer and all went fine.

Now it's finished but I just see the installer site. See attached screenshot.

Do I miss something here?

How to go to the Admin site, how to set categories, characters, etc up?

Thank you for any advise.

P.S.: I might add that this is a fresh install, not an upgrade.
