We completely removed onsite registration and turned it into a kitbashed two-step-authentication system -- google form to backdoor admin -- to eliminate spam registrations, so no more spam users and no more spam reviews.

Can you please explain how you did it, or share which sites explain how to do it? :)

Oh it looks like you switched from eFiction to a AO3 type site. Were you able to transfer all the stories and such or did you have to start over from scratch?

We're almost eleven years old and still kickin'! We completely removed onsite registration and turned it into a kitbashed two-step-authentication system -- google form to backdoor admin -- to eliminate spam registrations, so no more spam users and no more spam reviews. We have a great set of forums (IPS, high end stuff) and we welcome all Trek from all eras, including Expanded Universe stories for original ships and original crews. We are generally the friendliest types you can hope to meet and we'd love to see new Trek authors and readers come join us.

We own our own server, too; because of that, we can even offer Wordpress blogs. There is adult content but it does involve a pop-up warning to proceed.
