CoAuthor Bug

The coauthor bug is still present in 3.5.5. When you add a new story, when it is previewed a coauthor shows up next to the author's name. it was not selected or added. When you add the story the coauthor disappears. But it always shows up on the preview page.

My members contact me to report this bug or worry that their story info is wrong a couple times a month.

TinyMCE not working

TinyMCE is not working where it should be working. It doesn't work on the add story area. It does work on add new news area for admin.

This makes my archive unusable for some users. It's unusable for most of them since they don't know HTML and all their story formatting is gone when adding it to a plain text box.

This bug happened when I updated to 3.5.5.

Stories not updating date when new chapter added

Some stories on my site are not updating their update date when their authors update them. I have to go manually into the database and change the update date myself.

I am also wondering if those stories might not be sending out all their update e-mails for those subscribed.

This is a key part of the basic functioning of the archive. It needs to be fixed. Users will not use the site if their stories aren't being updated.

Bug: can't send messages

When I try to contact a member through the profile (e-mail them) I get:

Error!We encountered an error. Please go back and try again.

I also get the same error when I try to send acceptance and rejection letters from the submission page.

The website is running eFiction version 3.5.5.

Any ideas of how to fix this?

Sending messages on the site works in the admin panel.

I checked my e-mail for mail failure. My archive's story update messages and messages from the site seem to be mistaken for spam, so they are automatically rejected. How do I fix this?

Spammers using Report Feature to send spam

Spammers are using the Report Feature to send spam. We need a captcha added at the very least. A way to make sure only members use it as well.

class.TemplatePower.inc.php is being treated as malware

My host (SiteGround) is now thinking of class.TemplatePower.inc.php as "malware," even though I have not changed anything about the file in the past day since the last scan. I'm not sure if my host has changed anything like the PHP version, but I'm wondering what about this particular file could trigger such a warning, and what, if anything, I can do to fix it (in the meantime, the file is quarantined, so I hope it doesn't break my archive entirely, but... if it does, I don't see it as a huge loss these days).

Need Help With Password Resets

Hi Guys,
I am running the 3.5.5 version of php efiction on my site. I'm having an issue with resetting passwords. For some reason if you request a reset, it does not send the password quickly.
What happened is that for some weird reason, my password worked for awhile then quit.
Is there a way to set passwords from the main software on the server?

I also had an issue before I requested a password change tonight, it was not letting me add story chapters to my own stories when logged in as the administrator.

Suggestions?

Block issues

Having all kinds of issues with the block feature in the admin, when I try to initialize or click on options I get mysql errors, also I tried to set the site news to inactive but it just refuses to go away, below are some of the errors I got, has anyone else had these issues?
