Epiphany (responsive)
« on: October 22, 2014, 06:14:41 PM »
I think that one will be the default theme for eFic5.  :-D
I'm going to convert all my recent (responsive) skins to the next eFiction version.  :upsidedown:

Skin name: Epiphany
Responsive: Yes
Download: here
Demo: here

This skin will work on all devices as long as you follow my instructions on the README.txt that you'll find within the zip.

If you have any questions. Just ask.

Otherwise, enjoy!

I have a question: how are you so awesome?
Haha, seriously - you make the most gorgeous layouts! And responsive to boot!

Do you allow users to modify your skins? I've done that in the past with some of yours, and I've left the credits as "Skin created by Artphilia, Modified by Me" etc. Is this OK?

Are you willing to do a commission? I know of a CSS template I'd love to see converted into a eFiction skin.

Yes of course. There is just one golden rule: you mess it up, you fix it yourself. ;)

Using that at the footer.tpl
Code: [Select]
{online_content}
For questions like this we have a Info/Tutorial forum. Please ask your questions there. ;)

Well that depends. I would love to have a look at the template first. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I would rather not have my name under a skin that doesn't match my definition of beauty. ;) And I don't do commission for 5-20 bucks. It's time consuming. If you have no prob paying a fair price for me doing a job for you, we can talk about it further - via pm.

Little hard to ask a question in another forum thread when for some reason I can only reply to posts and it won't allow me to start a new post.  I'll just fumble through from now on. Thanks

You can't post own topics, that is weird. I'll see into it.

I followed the instructions and put the line of code:

<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0"/>

in the header.php after line 218 as it said, but it caused a Internal 500 error when I saved it. and only started working again after I removed the code line.

Ok. I think I found a solution.

It's easier to add the code right after that line (should be around line 403)

Code: [Select]
<link rel='stylesheet' type='text/css' href='$skindir/style.css' /> \n
That is where I added it a few times later. Let me know if it works.
